As we are heading into the Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to reflect on those things and places we’ve been lucky enough to see and the people we shared them with.
First, we are incredibly thankful that we made the decision to move to the Pacific Northwest five (yes 5!) years ago. As we mention in nearly every post, there is so much natural beauty and wonder to explore in every direction.
We are thankful for the Puget Sound and all the wildlife living within it.
We are thankful for the mountains that dare us to climb higher.
We are thankful for the meandering trails that lead us on new and sometimes unexpected journeys.
We are thankful for the waterfalls…so many wonderful waterfalls!
We are thankful for the trees that often provide canopy from the rain. (What rain? It never rains in Seattle!)
We are thankful for the beauty in each changing season.
We are thankful for our friends – the wonderful, kind, funny, creative people we have met out here. The amazing people we have shared this place with.
We are thankful for the amazing creatures we’ve met.
We are thankful for the delicious food (and drink) from this area.
And we are so thankful the wonder festivals and events.
Happy Thanksgiving from Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
